1) Collection of back links: Do collect back links for your site. More you have back links proves more you are popular in the web world. Back links are counted as vote for the particular site. So do link exchange with those sites, which are relevant to the theme of your business as well as having good page ranking and also placed in the top level of the SERPs.

2) Article submission: Article submission is the best way of getting quality one-way back links. Write articles and then submit it into the article sites and place the site link under the option of author’s details.

3) Directory submission: Directory submission is another way of getting one way back links.

4) E-mail marketing: Using web-mining data and collecting visitor details or collecting old customer details thus web owner can promote their site through e-mail messaging. Also yahoo provides option for placing signature in their yahoo mail ids. This is also a good option for e-mail marketing.

5) Uses of signature link in popular forums: these days web forum is the global platform for any web users. Net savvy people like to spend time in forum, they use web forum for their own queries, for their research work as well as for knowledge. Web forum is also a global platform for online marketing too. Placing own site link as the signature link assures increased number of visitors as well as a certain amount of back links.

6) Blogging for indirect marketing: one must have own blog and use this blog for indirect marketing. Blog can be used as a supporting base for online marketing. Fundamental concept of blogging is to carry fresh content all time. Bloggers always try to provide fresh news, small articles in their own blog as a result blogger always have good amount of visitors. So collecting back links from popular blogs is another way of marketing.

8) Article exchange: Write good relevant articles on complementary aspects and exchange those articles with other site in lieu of back links for your site.

9) Adsense marketing: Google adsense marketing is one of the world-renowned marketing options. But web owner must be aware of the limitations of the uses of adsense. Otherwise a site giving more attention to google adsens will be considered either as a scraper site or as a site made for adsense reveue only. Visitors and major search engine like big G or yahoo or msn do not like these sites.

10) Offline marketing: Business owner can promote their site locally by using normal offline marketing strategies like news paper adds, TV adds, banner adds etc. It will help them to gain local popularity. Say for example: bharatmatrimony.com or shadi.com can give their off line news paper add in Sunday Anandabazar Patrika in well known “Patra-patri” column to gain the local popularity.

When it comes to Link popularity and its relevance into getting better traffic, we all know that it is a necessary thing. Link popularity is one of the ways that search engines like google and yahoo give your site better rankings. You can search through different sites advertising about link popularity that say they can increase it overnight with thousands of links directing to your site.

Let me tell you something, this is a bad decision to make if you are thinking about any of these services. I have experience in this field and thousands of links are not going to help your site out any!

One of the best ways to approach link popularity is to think about the relevance of your site to one you would like to link to. It is better for you to have a small amount of links to your site than having a large amount if the relevance is high! The higher the relevance, the less links you need to have to increase your popularity. Google and Yahoo do not only look at the amount of links, but the quality of links. The better quality, the better positioning and page rank. So do yourself a favor and work on getting your links on quality relevant websites and you will reap the rewards of doing this right!

Cyberspace has a NEW marketing tool, even though they’ve been around for quite some time, yet, ONLY recently have been recognized as a Powerful communication tool for Internet marketers.

If you’ve been following the latest Internet marketing trends like I have, then you’ve definitely heard of them.

What’s this new marketing tool I’m taking about that every Serious marketer should have in place?

BLOGS! …(A.K.A. Web-Log).

Now, just for those of you who aren’t quite sure what a BLOG is, here’s a quick definition:

A BLOG(A.K.A. Web-Log) is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating(usually on a daily to weekly basis) a blog is called “Blogging” and someone who keeps a Blog is a “Blogger”.

There you have it, quick and to the point.

If you want to read up more about “Blogs”, here’s a link to an article I wrote earlier that goes more in depth.

.internetwondersezine.com/blogsexplained.htm

Okay. For the rest of this article I want to focus on how ONE can $$Profit$$ from having there own Blog.

I’m going to list three ways that I think are the Best and most Powerful ways to get the most out of your Blog.

So, with that said, let’s go to Profit Tactic #1.

Profit Tactic #1. Writing “Articles”.

Writing “Articles” are a very Powerful way to profit from your Blog.

There are many reasons why “Articles” are valuable to your Blog, but, for the purpose of this article I’m going to give you the most important part, and that’s your “Resource Box” at the end of your article.

Your “Resource Box” is like a classified ad and holds critical information about You, your websites and what you have to offer them after they’ve read your article.

The links within your “Resource Box” could lead to your own Product or Service you have to offer, or they could lead to a Affiliate Product related to the content of your article.

This is a great way to give them something of “Value”, which is the information within the article, and a great way to get them to take action by way of getting them to click on one of the links within your “Resource Box”.

That’s “Profit Tactic #1″.

Profit Tactic #2. Writing “Product Reviews”.

Writing “Product Reviews” is a great way to profit from your Blog simply because they allow you to Soft-Sell your potential customer by way of giving them your personal opinion on the product you are recommending and then providing them with a link if they wish to look into it further, instead of throwing a Sales Pitch at them.

Nobody likes to be sold, but, offering them your insight on a Product and/or Service that could help solve the problem they’re dealing with is yet another great way to profit from your Blog and make you look like a Hero.

That’s “Profit Tactic #2″.

Profit Tactic #3. “Text Ad” Programs.

“Text Ad Programs” like Affiliate Power Ads or Google Adsense are yet Another great way to profit from your Blog.

I’ve listed these two “Text Ad” programs for a reason, One is a Pay-Per-Click(Google Adsense) and shows related ads to the content on that particular webpage and the other one(Affiliate Power Ads) makes You up to $60 to $100 dollars in commissions on a single click.

Here are the links for you to check them out further if you wish.

Google Adsense –

.internetwondersezine.com/googleads.htm

Affiliate Power Ads –

.internetwondersezine.com/powerads.htm

They are both FREE to join and only take you minutes to set-up depending on your experience.

Here’s an example of how mine looks if you were to set-up your Blog through Blogger.com — .blogger.com with both of these programs. theiwe.blogspot.com

The great thing is… they’ll be displayed on every page of your Blog when you make a post.

I also provided a link below that shows you How-To set this up “Step-By-Step”, making it Easy for you to get started.

.internetwondersezine.com/help.htm

Now, I’m sure there are many other ways to $$Profit$$ from your Blog, but these ones in my mind are the most Powerful.

Well… there you have it, “3 POWERFUL Ways To Profit From Your BLOG… Starting TODAY!”.

If you haven’t started a BLOG, maybe it’s time you considered it since NOW you have some incentive.

I truly hope this article helped you realize the $$Profit$$ potential your Blog could have and how you can start incorporating it… Starting TODAY!

Using a blog has become one of the most popular methods of promoting an affiliate program today. What is great about a blog is that in many cases you can post it free. Blogs serve a great number of purposes today and promoting your affiliate program is just one of the many uses for a blog. Why should you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars in promotion and advertisement of your affiliate program? All you need is a free blog and some good information to offer your visitors. With these two simple items, you could dramatically increase the amount of traffic you get for your affiliate program.

Why all the hype about blogs anyway?

What is a blog? Well, if you have not discovered a blog by now, you have been living in the dark. Blogs are everywhere and include information about many different things. Take, for instance, using a blog to promote your affiliate program. All you need to do is generate a few articles or stories about your specific affiliate program. They can be about anything at all. Consider articles such as how to use your specific program, what is special and unique about your program, why people should use it and how they can benefit from your affiliate program.

Ok so I create a blog, now what?

The key point in posting a blog, is to generate interest in your users and make them click that ever-special link directly to your affiliate program. Now, that being said, an important key that everyone should know about blogging is that you should post to your blog each and every day at least once per day. Doing so will help drive people to your blog and further on to your affiliate program. That means more traffic for you.

More is Better

Now, a free blog is of course free, however, many web sites that offer free blogs will also offer you a paid upgrade. With a paid upgrade, you can enjoy additional features such as editing the articles you post if the need arises. You could also create and edit your blog pages to make them fit in well with the design you want. A blog host may even offer you the ability to create polls directly on your blog. This will allow you to determine what you need to know from you visitors in order to make a more effective blog for your affiliate program.

In the end

Overall, the whole goal your blog is to promote your affiliate program. When you promote your affiliate program, you increase the amount of exposure that your program receives. This will ultimately increase the amount of commissions you receive. Promotion = Visitors = Commissions… you have to love that formula!

If you consider your web site a money pit, you are not alone. Quite a few business owners have told me that they have web sites because “everyone else has a web site”, but they haven’t gotten any business from their web site. None. Zero. Nada. Zip. Many of them have paid thousands of dollars to web designers to create the web sites for them, and than the web sites just sit there, gathering the proverbial Internet dust, and getting enormous traffic consisting of three to five unique visitors a month.

Your web site should not be languishing in one of the rarely visited corners of the Net. Instead, it should be working 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year getting leads and clients for your business. It should serve as marketing brochure and as your best salesperson (who incidentally never sleeps, and doesn’t require either salary or commissions).

So how do you turn your dust collector into a lean, mean sales machine? First, you need to lay down the infrastructure for your online business. Here are three guidelines your web site should adhere to before its initial debut:

- Your web site must be easy to navigate, understand and use. When a web surfer comes to a web site and doesn’t understand what the web site is about in the first few minutes, the surfer moves on to the next web site (trust me, there lots of them out there. Approximately 2.7 billion at last count, give or take a few billion).

If the purpose and intent of your web site is not blatantly obvious, a surfer will move on. If your web site is difficult to navigate, a surfer will move on. If your web site is hard to use (for example, it is not obvious how to contact you or hire you) a surfer will move on.

- Your web site must discuss what you do AND how what you do will benefit your customers. Let’s say Sue and Jane are both weight loss coaches. Sue’s web site says that Sue is a weight loss coach. Jane’s web site says that Jane is a weight loss coach who helps women look and feel better by losing 30 pounds in 3 months.

Which coach sounds more appealing? The one who not only states what she does, but also shows what is in it for the customer. The site must answer a fundamental question: Why should I hire you?

- Have a newsletter sign up box on your web site. The majority of your web site visitors will not contact you about your services after visiting your web site, but they will subscribe for a free newsletter. By subscribing, they give you permission to send them your information-packed newsletter, which will also serve as a reminder about your business.

Without a newsletter, many people will visit your web site once and promptly forget about it 10 minutes after leaving it. By having a newsletter, you are able to capture these visitors, and tell them about your business again and again.

Take action today! Take a critical look at your web site and make sure that it conforms to the guidelines outlined above. A website that follows these forms a solid foundation for having a marketable web site for your business.

Success in a company is not about having the best technology or being the smartest or even about having the best customer service (although none of these could hurt). More than ever, success is now measured in speed. Today it is about thriving in an ever-evolving world where everything changes so rapidly &ndash and that applies to any business. Today is a world surrounded by buyers who want it now, want perfection and impeccable service.

In order to succeed online, your business needs to be organized and able to handle the increased business your web site is going to generate. Here are some guidelines for running a business of speed and complete service.

1. Run your business of speed.

It’s a new phenomenon called Internet time; it’s a 24/7 kind of world today. This means if you’re business is not moving ahead 24 hours a day 7 days a week, your business is falling deeply behind. Internet time means not only doing business quickly but doing it anytime the customer wants and for as long as the customer wants it done. This I what the customers demand, and what every company doing business online needs to offer. The end result is a business that is always working, always aware of potential business, one that is always one call, email or fax away from their clients.

2. Having effective meetings means having short meetings.

Meetings are the annoyance of many employees workplace. They involve too little discussion, take up too much time, little gets accomplished, people ramble on too much, and respect and open discussion are often not granted. Meetings though are imperative, but the way in which they are run can definitely be changed for the better. Because the Internet world moves so fast, companies doing business online cannot afford to have unproductive meetings.

First set some genuine detail-oriented goals for the meeting. Let people have the option of attending, especially if the issues discussed have nothing to do with them. Post the meeting summary in a place commonly seen by employees, such as the break room. Start and end your meetings on time, and stay within thirty minutes to one hour. Have two or three shorter meetings through the day, with short goals to be accomplished by the next meeting. Also, don’t bore people with anything not on the agenda. Lastly, make the meetings enjoyable; use skits, slideshows, charts, even puppets to get your point across. These moments will likely stick in employee’s heads over the long, drawn-out boring ones.

3. Email several times a day.

In the Internet world, CEOs and employees alike uses technology to supercharge productivity. With all of the pagers, cell phones, laptops, personal organizers and more, email is definitely the most valuable tool. Set up email power sessions with employees; it allows for communication with many employees at the same time and resolves any issues fast. With an email message, you are ensured your message gets delivered to all the right people exactly how you wanted to say it, without the hassle of applying phone tag with employees or risk miscommunication and misunderstanding. Throughout the work day, make blocks of time strictly to email (sending and receiving) at least three to four times a day too.

4. Brand matters on the Internet.

If your business is going to succeed in the Internet world, you will not only need to capture the market share, but also work on improving customer relationships. Whenever your potential or current customers need your products or services, where will they go online? Which Web site will they choose first? Will it be yours? Some tips to increase your business brand online include discovering a way to position yourself as being unique from your competitors. Create the right image, and be sure you continue to reinforce that brand image in everything your company does online and offline. Increase the number of online visitors to your Web site through a variety of Internet marketing strategies. Even if your business only sells locally, do not be afraid to think and market yourself internationally on the Internet. Advertise, advertise, advertise. Remember the importance of earning your customers trust too.

5. The power of feedback.

Ask your customers for feedback, through emails, surveyed phone calls, feedback forms on your Web site, case studies and letters. Ask for feedback often, whenever you are testing out a new product, reviewing sales on an existing product or service, or simply because you want to know how your customers feel about your company. Don’t neglect receiving feedback from your employees too; they know your business too because they work with you.

6. Most importantly, have fun!

Create a working environment where your employees feel free to mix a little fun into their daily routines and express themselves comfortably. After all, a happy employee is a productive one. Let your employees know they are appreciated and needed too, and they will be proud to come to work with you.

The Internet world is about building a better business environment through increased communication, greater convenience, personal enjoyment and greater access to information. How does your business measure up online?

BLOGS… they seem to be the talk of the Internet marketing world these days, and for good reason.

Not only do the Search Engines love them for there Content Rich pages, you also have the ability to plug your Blogs “Site Feed” into an RSS feed and then have it syndicated to thousands of websites and directories giving your content more exposure to your target audience.

RSS(Real Simple Syndication) is a very Powerful technology that has been around for quite some time and when used correctly, can build an audience overnight.

If you want a crash course on what RSS is, in more depth, since the nature of this article is to show you how to get your Blogs “Site Feed” listed in Yahoo! and MSN, I’ve provided a link to a page full of articles on RSS related issues. .rss-specifications.com/rss-articles.htm

Now, depending on where your Blog is hosted, whether its through a free service like Blogger.com — .blogger.com or hosted on your websites server you should have a “Site Feed URL” that has the .XML extension.

This is your “Site Feed URL”.

You’ll usually locate it within your Settings area of Blog control center.

Here’s what mine looks like as an example:

theiwe.blogspot.com/atom.xml

This URL is intended for a RSS News Reader, so disregard its appearance.

Once you find your “Site Feed URL”, copy and paste it into Notepad because you’ll need it for the next steps coming ahead.

Now, what you need to do is go and set-up an My Yahoo! and My MSN account.

I’ve provided the links for you below.

- My Yahoo! ==> my.yahoo.com

- My MSN ==> msn.com

It should only take you about 15-20 minutes at the most.

If you already have accounts with My Yahoo! and My MSN, read on.

This is assuming you already have your accounts set-up, so your next step is to Login to your My Yahoo! account.

When you login, you’ll be taken to your Yahoo! page immediately.

What you want to do next is go look under the Yahoo! search box to the left and click on the “Add Content” link.

This will bring you to a new page.

From there, over to the right by the “Find” button you’ll see an “Add RSS by URL” link, click on it.

A new window will open with a “Web Form”. Simply copy and paste your “Site Feed URL” from Notepad into the web form and click on the “Add” button.

Now, you should see your Blogs name infront of you. Simply click on the yellow “Add To My Yahoo!” button and your feed will be added.

The next thing you should see is your “Site Feed” with your “Headlines”.

Click on one of them, it should take you to your Blog, to the desired Headline you chose.

Your My Yahoo! page should Now have your Blogs “Site Feed” Headlines listed at the bottom.

Scroll down to check. If you don’t see them, it sometimes takes up to 24-48 hours for them to appear, so just check back later.

Now that thats done, everytime you update your Blog with NEW content, it’ll “Automatically” update on your My Yahoo! page and everybody else’s pages who have subscribe to your feed, plus, within 24-48 hours your feed will get Spidered and Indexed by Yahoo!.

Talk about getting the word out in a HURRY with very little effort on your part.

This is “Viral Marketing” at its Best in my mind.

And… it’s so simple to implement.

Okay.

Now it’s time to do the same to your My MSN account as what you did above to your My Yahoo! page.

Here’s the link to go login(click on Sign In from main page): .msn.com

Once your login to your My MSN account you should see an “Add Content” link under the MSN logo to your left. Click on it.

A pop-up should now be displaying. Simply copy and paste your “Site Feed URL” from your Notepad into the web form provided and click the Search button(the green button with the arrow).

You should now be looking at Check Box with your Blogs name beside it. Check off your “Site Feed URL” and then press the OK button at the bottom.

PRESTO! Like magic… your Blogs site feed has now been added to your My MSN page which will then be spidered in the next 24-48 hours and Indexed by MSN.

That’s the Power of BLOGS(Web-Logs) and RSS(Real Simple Syndication)combined with two Internet giants.

The only thing you have to bring to the table IS, fresh, quality content that your audience WANTS, and do it on a regular basis.

I post my articles that I write on a weekly basis, making my Blog called… The Internet Wonders Blog - theiwe.blogspot.com - a search engine Magnet!

You can do the same because I just showed you HOW.

In conclusion, creating BLOGS and using RSS as a vehicle to syndicate your Blogs content is a Sure-Fire way to get your content spidered more frequently by search engines and the exposure it deserves, which in turn, will build you a large audience of buying customers that TRUST you.

One of the most popular questions I get when I speak about online marketing is how to drive more traffic to a web site. Eight different techniques for doing just that are outlined below. Save this article, and refer to it for additional ideas whenever you try to expand your online marketing campaigns:

- Business Blogging. Start a blog for your business and update it on a regular basis. A business blog is an excellent tool to toot your own horn, let the world know about your new products, and tell your target customers why they should do business with you, rather than your competitor. A business blog is also a great tool for attracting potential customers to your blog and your web site.

- Search Engine Optimization (or SEO). SEO is the process of modifying web page content and meta-information to improve the search engine ranking of the page. Successful search engine optimization will greatly increase the number of visitors that come to your web site since over 70% of people who are looking for products and services use search engines to locate them

- Article Writing and Publishing. This is another great way to drive traffic to your web site. When you write and publish your articles, other web site owners pick them up and publish them on their web sites, while giving you a link back to your web site.

- Newsletter Publishing. Keep in touch with your clients and potential clients by sending out a newsletter on a regular basis. Every time you send out a newsletter, don’t forget to invite the subscribers to visit your web site.

- Online Networking. Mention your web site address in your signature when networking online. Make sure that your web site is prominently displayed on the page, provided to you by every online networking service that you participate in, so that your fellow networkers can visit your web site.

- E-mail Signatures. Every time you send out an e-mail to one person, you have a chance to get an extra visitor for your web site. When you send an e-mail to a mailing list, you have a chance to spread the word to even more potential customers. All you need to do is to append a signature to every outgoing e-mail message. Make sure that the signature contains a powerful tagline that invites the readers to click on the link and visit your site

- Pay Per Click Search Engines. Here you can control exactly how many new visitors you want to get. There is a catch, though — you have to pay for every click to your web site. Make a budget and stick to it an make sure to monitor your account &ndash those clicks add up fast.

- Affiliate Marketing. An affiliate program is another way to drive traffic to your web site. Your affiliates are your commissions-only sales people who make money when they sell your products. They drive traffic to your web site in exchange for commissions on sales.

Today I have discussed eight different ways of driving traffic to your web site. Which techniques are you not using yet? Take one of the techniques and incorporate it into your marketing plan. You will get a whole new pool of web site visitors coming to your web site.

If I received a quarter for every time someone told me that it’s absolutely impossible to convert 30% of the subscribers on your list, I’d have an extra million dollars sitting in my bank account.

Well I’m here to tell you that it can be done ONLY by using a systematic approach to converting your list. How is this done, and is it difficult you ask?

Well if done correctly, it’s possible you may even convert more than 30 percent.

Using the traditional permissions email marketing strategies that most internet marketers use simply isn’t good enough anymore.

People are getting pitched to for products that they’re not even interested in eventually they become decensitized to the offer. Yes, SPAM has hurt the email marketing industry but it hasn’t killed it…it’s simply forced some of us to develop alternative strategies to be successful.

In order to be successful, you simply need to create highly targeted sublists and then pitch them an offer they cannot refuse. Now, at this point you may be thinking it’s very difficult, however; it’s not, so let me show you exactly how you should do it.

Example: Let’s assume that my ideal leads/market are stock market traders/investors. He’re how I would set it up.

I would create a optin-page offering someone a unique and FRE~E ecourse or report which the website visitor needs to subscribe to receive. Now, asking them for an email address and first name IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH anymore, and this is where most marketers get it wrong. You need more information to know exactly who they are and what they’re interested in.

In this example, I would ask for the first name, email address, Trading Experience (drop down selection list which includes “beginner”, “intermediate” and “advanced” then, what do you trade (drop down list “Stock”, “Futures”,”Forex”) and Trading Style(drop down list “Swing”, “Day”,”investor”). by having them provide this info to you before subscribing you have now created a pre-qualified, laser targetted subscriber database list.

You know exactly who they are and what they would be interested in and that’s invaluable information when you’re trying to sell them a product. If you’re trying to sell them a Swing Trading producut for beginners, let’s say for example, you know exactly which subscribers on your list would be interested in your offer. When you go to send an email to that list, provided that you’re using a good autoresponder system, you can query your list and find only the people that fit that description and then send them an email with your offer….and since you’ve captured their email adress you can do this over and over and over again.

You conversion with skyrocket!..particularly if you first cultivate a good relationship with that list by providing good quality content/information which is very important, in other words, don’t try to sell to them immediately, first offer them quality information and PLEASE, when you recommend a product, make sure you’ve tried it yourself before recommending it. To me, anyone that recommends a product they haven’t tried themselves is unethical, so don’t do this. Be helpful and honest to your subscribers and they’ll reward you for it.

As I already mentioned, your conversion percentage will increase dramatically simply by pre-qualifying and cultivating your subscriber before offering a product to them, however; if you really want to absolutely skyrocket your conversion you have to structure your product offer to subscribers using a a very unique and systematic approach which I’ve perfected over the last couple of years…

..and these are the same advanced conversion strategies I talk about in my in my coaching program over at .intelligentmarketer.com where I’ll show you how to launch a product with the force of an atom bomb and make 30 times more sales than you normally would.

I know it held me back for nearly two years before I finally saw it. You don’t need to take that long :-) Learn from my mistake today and succeed.

I wanted to title this article The Ultimate Secret To Your Online Success. But I suspected that not many people would actually believe the claim. As I wanted as many people learn from it as possible, I settled for a less catchy but more believable title.

I consider what I ‘discovered’ the ultimate secret not because you can’t find it anywhere. You can. In fact many successful people talk about it quite openly.

I do consider it a secret because it took me almost two years online to discover. It stared me right in the eyes the whole time, yet I couldn’t see it. As far as I was concerned it was hidden from me.

Then after two years of struggling to make any decent income online, it was time for some deep soul searching.

I had my back against the wall: It was either turn it around and start making money online, or go back to my old career. For a while I also considered selling one of our homes, but my wife and I decided that this was a dumb idea. Selling a house was not going to solve my problem. It would only prolong my online agony.

What I really needed was to discover what I was doing wrong for the past two years, and change it. Otherwise, I was quite prepared to go back to my successful computer programming career. (But I just didn’t like the idea of working for someone else again.)

It didn’t take me long to discover what I was doing wrong. And this brings me to the ultimate secret:

LASER FOCUS

If you have been trying to make money online and haven’t been very successful, you can probably relate to some of the following.

While still at my old job, I discovered the world of the online marketing. Got quite excited about the possibilities.

I did some research and have invested in what I considered to be the best ebook on the subject.

Few months later when the opportunity came up (or so I thought at the time), I decided to become a full time online marketer. I also decided to specialize in affiliate marketing.

I really applied myself the first couple of months or so.

Then I discovered another great book on affiliate marketing. Bought it.

Then I discovered this great tool that would help you not only create great looking affiliate websites, but would also tell you what you needed to change on each page in order to make it optimized for search engines.

I really liked the idea, so I bought the tool.

Slowly but surely, I was becoming more and more confused. Which guru do I follow? All three approaches worked. But I had to know which one worked better (I’m very analytical by nature ;-) … Instead of following one, I began to follow them all.

I lost my focus. As I lost focus, my search engine traffic stopped growing. As my traffic stopped growing, my income stopped growing as well. I started becoming more and more frustrated and searched for other, “better” ways of making money online.

Then I discovered that another affiliate marketer got quite successful buying ads on Google. I had to find out how. Bought that ebook too :-)

It only started getting worse from here on.

Over the period of little more than a year, I managed to spend thousands of dollars on various Internet marketing ebooks and courses. Most of them were really good. I always do a pretty thorough research and rarely am unlucky enough to buy rubbish (although it does happen occasionally).

The problem was not with the materials I bought, the problem was that I didn’t apply any of them long enough to see the full results.

I wasn’t following any one expert for long enough to give myself a fighting chance. I was too distracted. In short, I lacked FOCUS.

Affiliate marketing is one of the greatest opportunities on the face of the Earth. And so too are dozens of other methods of making money online. Search engines do reward with free traffic those that apply themselves diligently. Yes, you can make money with Google AdWords, if you stick with it and study it hard enough.

Why am I telling you all of this?

It certainly doesn’t give me any satisfaction to talk about my failures. The only reason I wanted to bring this up is to make you aware of what you are probably doing wrong yourself.

Please learn from my mistakes. Life is simply too short to make all of the mistakes yourself.

I want to save you months or years of frustration. Once you waste that time, it’s gone forever. Not to mention the financial and emotional cost.

You need FOCUS. Not just any type of focus. You need LASER FOCUS. If you look at a 40 Watt light bulb, all you see is a nice, soft light, probably not strong enough to light up an average size room properly. But you take the same 40 Watts and put it out of a laser gun, and what you will discover is that this FOCUSED beam of light can cut through various objects like a knife can cut through paper. Wow. Same amount of energy, different focus. LASER FOCUS.

Focus means, doing only one project at a time.

Focus means, bringing your current project to fruition, before you embark on another one.

Focus means you stop buying every new ebook or PHP script that comes out - which you often do out of fear of missing out.

Focus means unsubscribing from all ezines, except one or two that you consider the absolutely best ones for your particular situation.

Focus means not wasting your time surfing the net. At least not until all of your tasks for the day are completed (and even then you need to put a strict time limit on it).

The day you regain your focus, your life will change around. Mine has.

May the focus be with you.
